Everyday cleaning
BeyondStone is straightforward to maintain with regular, simple cleaning.
What to use
• Soapy water
• A mild or common bathroom detergent — spray, liquid, gel or cream form
• A soft cloth or sponge
How to clean
• Wipe the surface with your chosen cleaner and a soft cloth or sponge
• Rinse thoroughly with water after cleaning
• Clean regularly after use to prevent dirt and limescale build-up
What to avoid
• Aggressive chemicals — acetone, trichlorethylene, strong acids or bases, or harsh drain-clearing products
• Metal scrapers, iron brushes, blades or cutters
• Direct hot steam cleaning
• Hot water above 55°C / 130°F
• Boiling liquids, cigarettes or open flames
• Heavy knocks or dropped objects
Removing limescale
Limescale is a natural build-up in hard water areas. To remove it safely from BeyondStone:
• Apply a limescale remover such as Viakal, white wine vinegar, or lemon juice to the affected area
• Allow to work briefly, then rinse the surface thoroughly with clean water
• If you are unsure how strong a product is, test it on a small, hidden area first
Cleaning regularly will help prevent heavy limescale build-up.
Stubborn stains, minor scratches and small burns
One of the most remarkable properties of BeyondStone is its restorability. Most surface marks can be treated at home:
Step 1 — Light abrasive clean
• Lightly rub the affected area with a Scotch Brite-type scrub sponge and a common abrasive cleaner (such as CIF or VIM)
• Rinse thoroughly and check the result
Step 2 — If the mark remains
• The area can be smoothed again using extra-fine sandpaper, applied with care
• Rinse thoroughly afterwards

BeyondStone lifetime guarantee
Every BeyondStone product comes with a lifetime guarantee — defined as a 25-year period from the date of delivery.
The guarantee is designed to cover products that do not meet their quality standard due to manufacturing or materials defects. Where a valid defect is confirmed, the remedy may be a replacement product, replacement part, nearest equivalent, or repair at 34 St John's discretion.
What you need to know
• Original proof of purchase is required for any claim
• The guarantee covers the product and/or spare parts — it does not cover knock-on costs such as removal, reinstallation or fitting
• Products must be installed by qualified professionals and in accordance with installation instructions
• The guarantee is personal and cannot be transferred
• Products installed outside the United Kingdom are not covered
